Support for Schweizer SGS 2-33

Post by jmurtari » Fri Apr 26, 2024 9:39 pm

Folks,

I'm located in the US. We have a lot of glider clubs using the 2-33 for primary training. Currently there are over 200 flying and registered by FAA. This doesn't include Canada.

Yes, this is not a cross country glider; however, with VR capability and photo-real local landscapes, Condor has become VERY helpful in early training.

I'm confidant there would be ready market for this aircraft. The Soaring Society of America (SSA) has recently put financial support for clubs buying Condor and simulators (covering 50% of the costs). There is a lot of interest.

How likely might this be?
Best regards!
John

I was contacted by user bittnc2 in march this year who said he would make the model.

I have not heard anything back. You could pm him

Well .. don’t get your hopes up too high. It’s very rare for things like this to make progress

Hi oxo,

Who should I contact and work with from the Condor Team if I want to model this plane? I have started working on it but I need someone to check and verify the model as I progress with the project.
