Textures with alpha channel - how to display it properly

First question - how to remove this bright edge from texture that have alpha channel?
and second - why some object isn't show correctly behind object with textures that have alpha channel?

There are some issues with alpha channels in Condor. Unfortunately you cannot solve them as they are in the graphics engine of Condor itself. Hopefully Uros will fix this for Condor 3.

If you can use the built in trees, they don't have this issue.
