Airfield Team FTP server

Post by OXO » Mon Oct 22, 2018 5:26 pm

You have all been given the login details.

Be careful because the server will block your IP if you repeatedly login with the wrong credentials. Do not try anonymous ftp !!

Best solution is to use Filezilla and save the login credentials in Site Manager. That way you won't forget.

Then type OK.

The host window (right bottom) is fill with 2 folders:

Unfortunately even with all the correct fields entered I continually get the same error message:

I can however access the data with Chrome, but it is very slow access.

Hi,

If you can not connect to FileZilla and the login details are correct.
Try: Edit> Settings timeout in seconds.
I changed that to 60 sec. With me it took more than 20 seconds before the connection was made.
Hope this also works for you if you experience problems.

Hi Andy,

I did understood that your problem was solved.

It is a general tip.
I spent a few days wondering why I could not contact the OXO's server. (windows 10 64 bit)
This is a problem that someone else might have to solve and then does not think about making the time out any longer.

Strangely enough, the connection works directly on an old 32 bit laptop :?:
