Another simple way to get a flat generic surface for Asphalt, Grass, AsphaltPaint, and GrassPaint.

Simply use the N-Gon primitive with the following Parameter (The radius is up to you):

And delete the bottom face with a Right Clic -> "Hole", as write "OXO". You will gain some FPS and less time delay at 23/24 km when the airport is loaded in the scenery.
Save with a specified name and "Merge" it as many times as necessary, in your airport project.

With 1.5.4 you will have to rotate Y manually of 45°.
