Hello.

I would like to help also if it's not too late. I know something about 3D (3DS MAX) and PhotoShop.

I live in the south of Spain but I fly at Toledo (Lillo LEM aerodrome) and I'm interested in modelling our hangars and buildings (I have the CAD plans).

Thanks in advance!

Best regards

I can help, if there is a little bit of reciprocity!

I get some experience with Wings3D (1.5.4 and 2.1.7) and my old CS6 Potoshop, and Illustrator.

My two pence.

I would be a team at the airport, unfortunately I have no experience, but I would have some ideas to beautify the airfields

:D

ftp details sent to those who replied.

There's some files for partly made airfields there, and a spreadsheet with a list of the airfields we will be making. Feel free to add to the spreadsheet, and remember to put it back on the ftp with your changes.

I suggest you choose an airfield, and get going. Put your name in the spreadsheet so we know you've taken that airfield.

Post any questions here, and store your work on the ftp. Please only use the ftp for airfiled things.. It's my NAs and I dont have infinite storage. :)

I've put the airfields in two sections.. I think the top ones should be done first.

Hi All

A speedy General Layout of Nympsfield gliding airport in West-Uk :

The purpose is to verify that the scaling is correct and not far from reality, and that we can easily add airports to the scenery.
Don't matter about the textures which had been butchered.
The shift between photo texture and the airport General layout can be easily corrected in Wings 3D or in landscape editor.
But it shows that the scaling is quite good. Nevertheless some flattening will be necessary as usual.

Grass and some secondary parts of Asphalt had to be done etc...
The work is far from finished for hangars and club house etc...
Englishmen have very funny trailers that I must model!

Good flight
