SketchUp Pro 2018

Post by finnk » Fri Mar 16, 2018 5:34 pm

Anyone with experience in exporting obj files from SketchUp 2018?
I get an access violation from ObjectEditor.

Objects MUST be triangulated to import into ObjectEditor

ObjectEditor doesn't like the .obj files produced by Sketchup. Some people have had success by:
1) Export .obj from Sketchup
2) Import .obj into Wings3d
3)) Export .obj from Wings3d
4) Open the new .obj in ObjectEditor

3DStudo works very good without problems ....

If only one of you would reply to my questions, or upload the problem files on a support ticket, I could get these things fixed...
