How to edit a landscape

Post by D-GY » Sat Mar 27, 2021 7:42 pm

Hello, i have the following question:

How to edit an airport on the Map Arc Alp Two?
On the map there is an airfield in southern Germany (Airfield Isny-Rotmoos), which is unfortunately not possible to fly because 90% of the runway is full of trees. I wanted to ask how to remove those trees so you can take off and land at the airport.
On the left side, in reality, there are also trees, but not in the middle of the runway. You will finde some pictures down below.

Thanks for the help

You can edit your own AA2 on your computer by unzipping this file in the AA2 directory:
AA2-Isny.zip
But you must be aware that your scenery will no longer be compatible for online flights.
A patch is coming, with a lot of corrected forest, textures and elevation tiles, including Isny, it has been delayed with the work on FRN, but it will come soon now.

Hello everyone!

I'm facing a similar issue, but with a different airport in the WestDeutschland 3 UHD landscape. I added a new airport (Sundheim https://www.aero-club-kehl.de), and it's impossible to do any takeoff or landing because the area is not flat. Can you guys please give me advice on how to flatten the ground along the runway without causing an error?

Thanks!

hi,
Is this file exclusively for concrete landscapes, or can it be used for any type of landscape?

If you want to make an airport in Germany I guess you can read german. Try this old description, I made, when I began modifying landscapes.

You find Kehl-Sundheim on my landscapes GermanyS and Alps too
