Hi all,

now that I succeeded in downloading Condor2 again, I wanted to try the AA scenery. The Condor Updater is very slow, it will take approximately one week to complete the download. And the alternative 1fichier.com?? Without subscription impossible. Is this site legal? I am a bit concerned if I should share any informaiton on that site.

Do you have any recommendations, where to download clean and fast?

Yes. I often get 5 to 6 MiB/s instead of only 250 KiB/S. And downloads start immediately as premium slots have priority. Most landscapes take about 10 - 15 min to download.

1fichier.com is a legal site, no problem about that Normally, you don't have to subscribe to download from there, maybe you have to create an account (free) on their site but it's not mandatory.
You can launch speed test on Condor Club to see what download speed you can get from the different mirrors if you are premium: https://www.condor.club/speedtest/speedtest/250/

Please note that I don't get any reward from BOD1 for saying the following :

Downloading landscapes or goodies from Condor-Club without a premium account can indeed be quite tedious...

On the other hand, the yearly fee for the premium account is a bit more expensive than a "basic" glider, but cheaper that a high performance one.

While you are at it, you could also estimate the time you lose waiting for loooooong downloads or restarts, how much do you value one hour lost ?

Thanks, I chose the premium account on condor-club. That makes a huge difference in download speed ....
