Use of Open Source for Condor support tools.

I'm a Senior Software Engineer and heartily agree with those who have recommended Open Source for the Landscape Editor (viewtopic.php?f=37&t=20036) and other support tools. I can understand the financial concerns and the perception of risk when losing some control of a project. But with proper handling, it has proven to increase usage of software and most likely will improve the revenue stream overall.

Especially as Condor is used more for flight training, one great limitation is frustration by landscape developers over many little ease of use issues which we learn to overcome, but can be a larger hurdle for some.

Just a few starting links for reference.
Best regards!
