Post by mebarg » Mon Jun 22, 2020 8:19 pm

i have new textures for my map of 16384x16384 pixels and i have made water mask as bmp of 16384x16384 pixels but wateralpha tool only works with 8192px textures
there is another way to make the alpha chanel for the textures?

Also check out the GIMP plugin I created. It basically does what WaterAlpha does, except that it supports 16384 sized tiles and the input tiles can be (and should be) a .png file with the alpha layer used to define the water areas. It is also somehow much much faster than WaterAlpha.

Edit... updated link to GIMP plugin - should now go directly to the python script on github.
