I make maps for LK8000 from each Condor 2 Landscape that I use. It is a pain trying to work out the correct Latitude and Longitude coverage of each Landscape when using LKMaps.
Is the area covered by each Landscape in Latitude and Longitude format documented anywhere? I have looked, but haven't found it anywhere.

Latitude and Longitude for area covered by Landscape?
Re: Latitude and Longitude for area covered by Landscape?
I haven't seen it documented anywhere, but I can very easily add that functionality to CoTaCo
Do you need min/max values or the coordinates of each corner of the map ?

Re: Latitude and Longitude for area covered by Landscape?
Even better, looking for code bits I could reuse, I found out I had written (a few days ago actually) a quick-and-dirty program that prints out min/max lat/lon for all landscapes it finds
I'll just have to de-quick-and-dirty-fy it a bit
If you need the corner coordinates, it would be kid's play to print them as they are already computed

Re: Latitude and Longitude for area covered by Landscape?
There you go : https://condorutill.fr/MiscTools/CoLaCo.zip
Just run CoLaCo (COndor LAndscape COordinates), it should write a file called Landscape_Coordinates.csv
The program will crash if that file is opened in Excel (which has the nasty habit of locking files)
No other documentation will be provided

Re: Latitude and Longitude for area covered by Landscape?
Bre901, you are a magician!
Landscape Corner coordinates are just what I am after to use with LKMaps.
To cross-thread a little, I have noticed that with the new CoTaCo version that I get a "name of landscape.cup" error when using CoTaCo for the first time on a new landscape.
Starting a flight with that landscape and then running CoTaCo again runs perfectly.
It MIGHT be because I am using a different drive for my landscapes but I am not sure....

No, just a software guy who doesn't throw away anything
As I haven't released CoTaCo V3 yet, I'll check that on MondayTo cross-thread a little, I have noticed that with the new CoTaCo version that I get a "name of landscape.cup" error when using CoTaCo for the first time on a new landscape.

Re: Latitude and Longitude for area covered by Landscape?
Answer in the CoTaCo thread (because it's not related to LK8000)

The Google drive link is dead, the new link to the tool is : https://condorutill.fr/MiscTools/CoLaCo.zip
