Update to v0.6 is awesome. The Texture resolution around Kägiswil is insane and it blends in seamlessly!

Is V0.6 a totally new install or do you need to have the previous version and then overwrite the old files?

I'll be getting this later but want to know whether I need to keep my current version for reinstall or not.

Paul, it is a patch(overwrite) to the the original installation. Relatively small download and quick copy and paste.

Or of course use the excellent 'Condor Updater'.

Cheers Andy

I thought the d/load look quite large, several files 800meg each. There must be an update file somewhere I haven't found!

There is one indeed !
Go to page 2 of the landscapes tab on CC, Arc Alpin2 is the 4th landscape on that page, then just download the file whose link is at :
Patch v0.5 -> v0.6 New! (494.31 MB)

I get the following error message when loading Arc Alpine2.

Cannot open file Landscapes\AA2\AA2.for.

I am using Verision Simulator v1.1.5.
In the Forest directory there are Files:

000.for ...... 15999.for but there is no file named AA2.for on the disc.

Is there any help?

This is a condor 2 landscape. You need Condor version 2.0.7.

If you are still on Condor V1 then you need this one: http://www.condor-club.eu/viewscenery/242/?id=201

Files are changed or damaged...

Try to install again or use the Condor Updater. Download here :

! appreciate all the work the developers put into AA2. It is my favorite scenery for flying in the Alps. I have wanted to have a map showing all the airfields and turning points as well as some contours to show topography. My solution was to take screenshots of the entire area from the map view in the Task setup ans assemble prints to map sheets. These were then digitized by scanning. The entire area is covered by twelve sheets starting from the lower left and running to the upper right in three rows of 4 sheets. The individual maps are about 5 MB and the whole coverage is 48 MB. I would be happy to send these to anyone who would like them.
I can send individual sheets by email attachment or possibly the complete package by Dropbox which is the only large document transfer means I am familiar with. My email is ebkollgaard@astound.net.
Regards,
Eric
