The West-UK zip files are now going to be removed from the Google Drive to enable me to upload the new 0.92 version.

This will take some time and I will post on this thread when the revised scenery is available for download.

The revised/extended version (0.92) of the West-UK scenery has now been uploaded to my drive:

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... sp=sharing

If you wish to use the new version:

Delete from your Condor 2 Landscapes folder the 'West-UK' folder.

Download all the new 'West-UK' zip files from my Google Drive to a separate folder.

You should have 5 West-UK.7z files numbered .001 to .005.

You should also have a small 'West-UK.exe' file.

There is also an information text file.

Click on the West-UK.exe file and this will create a West-UK folder with all the scenery folders and files Youhave option to select which folder to extract to, this can the Condor 2 Landscape folder or your downloaded zip folder).

If you extracted to your download folder, copy (or Cut) and paste this West-UK folder into your Condor 2 Landscapes folder.

Version 0.92 of the scenery should now be available in Condor 2.

Any issues, errors or suggested additions please post them on this forum thread.

The exe file was not straightforward, it downloaded with a 7zip prefix, which wouldn't do anything. To be honest not quite sure what I did, but eventually got it working. The un-zipping process came up with 2 error messages:
CRC failed West-UK\Textures\t0518.dds
CRC failed West-UK\West-UK-ONC.bmp
However it works, at least in my neck of the woods.
Thanks again for all your hard work Andy

The West UK scenery will shortly be uploaded to Condor Club as a Version 1.00 scenery.

I will therefore be removing it from my Google drive.

Thank you to all for your comments and suggestions.

West UK scenery version 1.0 is now available for download from Condor Club. This will replace the beta versions used for testing. So it is recommended that all users download the v1 version from CC. You will then be able to fly the same scenery online and subsequently post your ftr's on Condor Club.

Many thanks for this scenery Andy.
Just downloaded it and had a short flight.
It is a pleasure to fly in such realistic scenery.
I used a random weather and was getting very smooth 7Kt thermals to 6500' cloud base.

I tried to add a screenshot, but the status ends up as an orange triangle with an "!".

There is a limit to the size of the image that you can upload to the forum.

Screenshots usually need to be reduced.

The common method is to post the image to some image storage and add a link on the post.

Glad you like the scenery.

I have downloaded all the files from the website for West-UK and unzipped the files. When I start Condor all I see is black water. Can anyone please give me some advice as to what I am doing wrong.

The textures are probably in the wrong place.
They should be in a folder looking like : ..\Condor2\Landscapes\West-UK\Textures

Texture folder West-UK shows 5571 dds files. The start up screen shows West-UK screenshots. All the folders in the main West-UK folder appear to be normal. ???????

I think I have just found an anomaly just south of Penzance, There is a large landmass south of Penzance which should be water. it is if the textures are mirrored.

((I couldnt't get a file attachment sent with this post.)
It's not a bug, it's a feature. I have seen that in all the places where the landscape ends in water
The textures at the end of the world are always mirrored, but you only notice it if there is water at or near the landscape edge.
If there is only land near the edge, as the ground level is flattened to altitude zero, it makes things rather unrecognisable.
