Starting October 1st, we are launching the traditional "Call for Donations" to those who attend our forum and its daily Tchin-tchin flights, as well as the competitions (Grand Prix, Tchin-tchin Race, etc.). This call for donations will be maintained until we can ensure the functioning of Condorsim.fr during the year 2020-2021.
Why make a donation?
Nothing comes with nothing. We don't have our own equipment (servers, forums) and are therefore obliged to pay for the rentals. We currently have a very reliable server with good performance. This server is by far the most expensive of our investments: a little over 500 Euros/year. It allows us to ensure daily flights and competitions with excellent performance. We also have to pay for Team-Speak and the Condorsim.fr and Condorsim-ts.fr domain names. All in all, our expenses amount to a little over 600 Euros/year.
The financing of our system has always been based on voluntary and confidential donations as to the amounts, and this has always allowed us to exist until now. If one day this should no longer be enough, all that would be left to do would be to stop everything, keeping in mind the memories of the good and long moments spent together.
How much to give?
The amount is of course free: it is a donation, not a contribution. Nor is it an act of charity, nor a gesture of thanks to the admins who, of course, do not derive any personal benefit from it. But we want to avoid (at all costs
) the installation of a system of membership fees or paying competitions. Everyone gives according to the use and the satisfaction they get from the Forum and the organised flights. Let's compare this with a meal in a restaurant, an overnight stay in a hotel, a cinema ticket...

In any case, please do not forget to indicate who you are (at least your CN if you are not registered), so that we can acknowledge your support. Acknowledgements will let you know that your donation has arrived and has been received.
