55 Maps for LK8000 Uploaded to GOODIES!
I have just finished uploading 55 high resolution LK8000 maps for Condor 2 covering most of the more used maps in Condor competitions.
LK8000 maps combine a .DEM (Digital Elevation Model) file and a .LKM (Open Street Map data) to generate a map with 90 metre resolution.
As a very long time user of LK8000, I hope these maps will be of some use to other LK8000 lovers. If you are not familiar with LK8000, it is a branch of XCSoar that diverged a number of years ago. Personally, I find it has many advantages, including slightly higher resolution maps and a better interface.
Go to https://www.condor.club/srchgoodies/166/ and select "Family" as "LK8000 map".
Thank you to Thierry, who made the required changes to Condor Club and Condor Updater to make it possible.
Cheers
