Condor Updater wont shut up
So based on some users suggestions i downloaded condor updater to try and fix the WestGermany3 landscape. Long story short, I fixed the landscape without the updater and uninstalled it. Even after uninstall and reboot of the pc the condor updater still constantly pops up with an error saying your key is invalid, please obtain a new one ..... Can someone tell me how to rid this from my pc please?
Re: Condor Updater wont shut up
How did you uninstall it?
Re: Condor Updater wont shut up
I used the windows uninstaller... did it have its own uninstaller? I will look though.
Re: Condor Updater wont shut up
Windows runs apps uninstaller, so it cleans everything.

Windows 7 is EOL since 2020-01-14

NO, IT IS NOT END OF LIFE!!!
I wish people would stop spouting this mistaken belief. End of Support is NOT end of life. Not even Microsoft claim this.
Windows 10 adds NOTHING performance wise to a game. It is, after all, just the operating system. The least part of a computer.
As my motherboard does not have Windows 10 drivers I would be required to spend >$2000 to replace my current PC with the same specs, just to get Windows 10.
I can run any game on the planet (oh, except for those 7 DX12 only games) at 60fps ultrawide 2560x1080 with ultra settings with my current hardware.
I've got just under 500 games installed right now, with hundreds more in my catalog, and they all run just fine.
So, thousands of dollars of hardware and terabytes of re-downloads and re-installs to get Windows 10 for no reason - Nah, not going to happen.
p.s. I also had to uninstall the Condor Updater as it was running in the background too. I certainly never told it to do this on installation!

Windows 7 is not getting security patches anymore, making it vulnerable for hacker attacks more and more every day. If you are fine with that, by all means stay on windows 7...

That's just nonsense. There have been no hacker attacks on Windows 7 in years now. Each supposed attack involves using known passwords and teamviewer exploits which have nothing to do with the operating system in use. Any recent hack reports you may see will be about ransomware which are viruses which cannot be caught by any operating system and rely on the user to bypass their virus protection by running a malicious file. Windows 10 will not stop this - oh, except for that update which stopped programs from writing to Documents and Pictures. Good one idiots at Microsoft, now my astronomy software cannot save my pictures to Pictures! Yeah, that'll fix the problem. hahahaha

That vulnerabilities aren't reported any more doesn't mean there aren't any. EOL means no updates, so no reports either.
My old XP machines run on W10 just fine...
