is it normal to get 'waiting for slot' 1/2 way through an install
is it normal to stay in waiting for slot for over an hour?

edit over 3 hours, 1/2 way in it went into verifying.. then waiting for slot for 3 hours

edit again seem to have no connection to mirror.condor--- when i try downloading the files through the site too
No, but should be fixed. A bug on the first texture file on mirror :(

Great work! It’s a luxury to be able to leave it to do it’s thing without supervision. Thank you!

Version 1.1 released:

- Multithreading fully rewritten (up to 3 times faster to calculate checksum, 4x faster to unpack)
- Show installable landscape even if previous version is installed (and no patch to upgrade is available)
- Better errors handling
- Better messages handling
- Fixed progress bar for Server install

Please update quickly, the previous version 1.0 will no longer work very soon.

Version 1.2 available :

- Option to automatically put the computer into standby mode at he end of landscapes installation
- Automatic update of Condor Updater 8)
- Display nice Windows 10 notifications when a landscape/patch is released. It should work on Windows 8 (I would like feedback), no notifications on Windows 7

Please update quickly, the old versions 1.1 and 1.0 will no longer work by early May.

I just tried condor updater to (re)install BigPyreenes and was greeted by this after some time:

Image

I had no problems manually extracting that same file that Condor updater had downloaded, and 7zip also reported no issues with that archive..
I was still using 1.1.7052

I think it may have something to do with HD textures overwriting the initial ones?

Indeed :/
The landscape includes low and high resolution textures and CU downloads both (and extract them at same time), so when 2 files with same name are written at same time -> bug. I temporary removed low res from download until I found a solution (CU can't manage an optional patch with more than 1 file yet)

Hi Thierry ,
I thing you can remove definitely the low res version, we did "Hi res" in addition to "normal" version because we had no experience with Condor2 in these time ..... Now that it's clear we can use even higher resolution than 4096x4096, there is no need to make them as an option .
But of course you will have to make new packages because not all textures are available as Hi res, only " à la base" les airports and some other place with good pictures...

New version released today:
- A click on landscape (installed or not) or patch name displays a detailed view of the landscape:

A nice improvement, thank you, Thierry!
It's working fine for all sceneries excepted with Cascade Range. (a matter of size maybe?)

I'm trying to download LEM Bahia 2 from the condor updater, and it just says "Downloading" for 3 or 4 hours now, it didn't create any directory in the download dir, any ideas what might be happening? I haven't used condor 2 yet
