Hi all. When I try to download a 'Goody', the message 'there is not enough room on your device' comes up. I have more than enough room on the hard drive. Anyone else experience this?

Check paths you provided to Condor Updater. Smthng may (or must) be wrong there.
No matter where you go... There you are...

Which goody? If you select another goody to download, do you get the same problem?

Hello,

Thanks for your reply. Yes, have tried my goodies, of different names and sizes, but get the same message.

Please retry to download a goody to get this error and immediately open the log file and paste it here (direct access to log file: menu Settings in Condor Updater, "Open log file" button at the bottom of the window)

Hmm, it seems another instance was running at the same time (auto check for new landscape), so the log file is wrong :( Sorry, but possible to do it one more time?

Very nice program -- great work!

Is there a way to tell CU to use a specific server for a download? It's a bit frustrating to see on Condor Club your desired landscape downloading slowly at kilobits/second while other servers are screaming along at megabits/second - a thousand times faster.

Thanks!

If you are not Premium member, download speed is limited.
You may also run speed test (https://www.condor.club/speedtest/speedtest/250/) to measure your connection speed between your computer and each CC server, results determine best suitable servers for you and downloads are redirected accordingly.

Yes -- I am a premium member.

Test finished, results have been saved.
Mirror #1: 150 KiB/s
Mirror #2: 60 KiB/s
Mirror #3: 40 KiB/s
Mirror #4: 42 KiB/s
Mirror #5: 44 KiB/s
Mirror #6: 80 KiB/s

From this test it looks like the transatlantic bit rate is just plain slow. Must be a very small fiber under the ocean!

I have been downloading Sierra Nevada (7.64 GB) from Mirror #5 all night. Still going at 89%.

Thanks!

 Where are you from? You may have a try with another ISP, its peering seems very bad...

Server #5 has 1Gbps connection, server #6 has 2.5Gbps. The difference is obvious here.

I'm in the Tucson, Arizona area. Cox is the techo-scum ISP that very likely is throttling the bit rate in order to persuade me to pay $60/month more for their "gigabit" service.
