Can't start game, stuck at pilot info

I've tried everything I can think of to install and start sim. I get stuck at creating the pilot info screen. Says unable to write to pilot.ini file.
Any ideas?

The Pilot.ini is written in Documents\Pilots\YOUR_PILOT_NAME
Does that folder exist ?
Is it writeable ?
Is the Documents folder exported in OneDrive ?

You probably have your system protected against ransomware, if an app is not allowed to write in Documents, it's blocked.

Thanks for the tips, Condor was blocked from accessing the Documents folder. Working now! Thanks again to both of you!

Support suggested starting the app as an admin, that dit not work. Still unable to write that.ini file.
Anyone any ideas? App remains unusable...

Depending on what is preventing Condor from writing. You could try:
- Disable or make an exception for Condor in your virusscanner.
- Disable onedrive or googledrive apps
- use the administrator account to play Condor

It was indeed the Windows Security app that blocked Condor2 from writing the pilot.ini
More specifically App & browser control - Protection history
I have allowed the 'threat service' and then I could write the ini
