Calculating task length

Post by Paul_UK » Tue Oct 20, 2020 12:29 pm

I may be being blind here but is there a function within Condor itself that tells you the length of a task once created?

To date I quickly fire up DSHelper with my created task and it tells me the overall distance. I'm going to feel pretty dumb if this info can be found out whilst creating a task  but it'd be good to know if the info exists.

2019 - Get up to speed and aim for a 300km task?! maybe.....

Bottom left of the map in the flightplanner. May be on the right as well. I'm doing this of the top of my head.

Bottom right, yellow text, not always very visible, you may have to change the map or drag it so that a darker part is below the text

It even tells you the task distance as it is created

 I knew I'd be made to look stupid. How the hell did I miss that especially as I use the 'height' on the LH side all the time for setting finish heights. I will go to my opticians and ask them to double check the strength of glasses I need next time

Thank you all!

I can't believe I've missed it for so long. That said many of the tasks I've created have been in SE UK and the map for that is pretty yellow :? What's more embarrassing is I even went and had another quick look at a task window before posting this thread up
