So I entered my first multiplayer task just now and I when I sent a message the frequency wouldn't go away. So after spending about 20 minutes trying to start the task, I concluded that the bug was preventing me from starting. Trying to look up how to sort out the issue on my phone while trying to stay up is a bit of a handful.
Is there a fix or, was it pilot error on my part?

Re: Chat bug
So looking at the flight log, it seems I couldn't start the task because I was too high as I had the wrong altimeter setting QFE and not QNH. I have now unassigned a key to chat to prevent any future possible incidents. However, it is still a problem that needs addressing.
Re: Chat bug
Something is stealing focus and giving it back, but that's enough to mess up the chat function. I've nearly given up on using chat because of that.
Re: Chat bug
You could run this app to help find out what is stealing focus:

If you find something, please post it.

Re: Chat bug
I had previously found that the nVidia GeForce Experience is a focus stealer. I also found a DNS utility I have, when it would decide to check if it needs updating, would steal focus if the underlying service wasn't running.

Re: Chat bug
I've just given up on using chat and unassigned it to make sure I don't accidentaly use it.
