Failing to Unzip Landscape Files

I'm sure this is an old topic but have failed to find any references to it on the Forums.

My problem is that I have downloaded UK South East but the files will simply not unzip using 7_Zip to 'Extract Here'

The error seems to be 'unexpected end to data'

I have download some files twice as a test but no joy.

A solution would be appreaciated.

Further to my posting.

I downloaded Lake Placid as a test of the process.

I also tried WinZip to unzip but this also failed with the following report

Extracting file: C:\Program Files (x86)\Condor\Landscapes\Test\LakePlacid.7z
Extracting to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Condor\Landscapes\Test\"
Use Path: yes Overlay Files: no
Error: Unable to create folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\Condor\Landscapes\Test\LakePlacid\Airports"
Irrecoverable Error: Extract operation failed.

Hope this shows a possible clue to the problem

You probably don't have permission to write in "Program files" folder. Uninstall Condor and install it again in D:\Condor (if you have D:) or C:\Condor.

Thankyou but that is not the problem; however I have discovered what it was.

The system seems to object to me expanding files within Program Files.

I resolved the problem by copying the downloaded files onto my working drive (E in my case) expanded them and then copied the constructed SE UK file into Program Files.

On opening Condor the SE UK landscape was available.

Must remember this in future.

I always expand them in my download directory, then cut & paste to landscapes.
