Thermal Issue

I was flying Denmark 5.1 last night on one of the multiplayer servers and I had an issue where the thermal kept switching from +10 to nothing. The LS8 was being pushed around an awful lot as a result. I didn't know if it was a weather setting issue, or an issue with the Denmark 5.1 landscape.

Sounds as if you didn't correctly center a thermal that had a lot of turbulence...

Nah.....didn't save it since it was a one off. If it happens again, Ill try to send a track file to support.

I have experienced this as well. Best way I can describe it, is sometimes that harsh transition that you get when entering wave. I honestly don't think this is a thermal centering issue. Rather a bug of some sort. But I can say i've had this happen aswell.

Hi guys
There is a thermal issue!!!!!. If you set cloud high and inversion at max height thermals max and go over the inversion height you feel like you are in awful turbulence. If You start in an area at 2000m+ the cloud base is 6500m + at about 8200m you will be pushed around no flying possible.

I just tried again.The old track was lost. Same story. I sent the track,fpl,replay. Hope it helps.

The flight plan is not in Slovenia. Can you recreate the issue in our landscape please.

I did: I could not find that thermal bug in Slovenia scenery. So it comes maybe from the thermal maps of different scenery.
