Thanks again for this Bre901. Do you have an updated comparison polar chart with the newer gliders on it also?
I have the all the data needed for that (that's how I computed the RMS errors that are in the README.txt), but I haven't made it yet.
I'll be rather busy in the coming days but it's on my to-do list.

Following the release of the SGS1-26, I have updated the polar set, it is available for download :

https://drive.google.com/open?id=1td69c ... YlkNJ8K3Ef

The set is complete with all the previous polars. If you already have the previous version, you may extract only the new polar files.

As usual, you may ignorethe README.txt but ...

The XCSoar polars are now hosted on the new webpage (together with the other utilities I wrote) : http://condorutill.pagesperso-orange.fr/
Please do not use the old Google Drive links any more as they won't be maintained in the long term.

Following the release of Hangar Update 6, I have updated the polar set, it is available for download : http://condorutill.pagesperso-orange.fr/

The set is complete with all the previous polars.
If you already have the previous version, you may extract only the new polar files (Libelle and StdCirrus)

Of course, you can ignore the README.txt

I have split the chart in two, otherwise it would have become unreadable (and hard to manage in Excel on my side  )

Edited to add
These polars are computed at max W/L. When used in club class (no water-ballast) the Libelle and StdCirrus are much closer to each other

Thanks MPT as always.

The devs mentioned that there had been further polar ‘tweaks’ on this update. Does anybody know on what and which way?

I assume this set doesn’t contain these changes apart from the DG808?

So far as I have noticed, the polar of Ventus 3 15m has changed (nearly equal to Diana 2) and the Index of JS1C-21 has changed from 124 to 122.

The set contains all known changes (DG808s & Ventus polars + ASG29 and JS1-21 indexes)

I'll make the comparison plots when I find time

I've had two questions by mail whose answers might interest the community :
yoyoglider wrote:I'm missing the EB29R in the Polars_Comparison_15m+.png file...
Making these comparisons plots takes time and I'm busy IRL for the time being so I focused on essentials.
yoyoglider wrote: What is the function of the Antares18S-V2.xcp in the XCSoarPolarsHU8.zip..?
It's a leftover from previous tests.
XCSoar will not use it it, you can safely ignore it.
