Which tow plane you suggest?

Post by n98Bk9-NT3 » Sat Jan 25, 2025 2:48 am

Hi all,

Which tow planes do you recommend to use for competition?

I used to use Marc’s CoToMa to select powerful tow planes to take heavy, full-ballasted gliders up to the height.

There are new tow planes introduced into Condor3. I am afraid no one has discussed them for Condor3 yet.
If someone suggested which are good to use for a faster launch process, it would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Naoki

Use airstart... that is always fastest.

If you must use towing. In order of power:

Cmelak
Wilga
DR400
SocataRallye
Husky
Pawnee
Supercub
PH-1504, KOE
Condor beta team/Plane developer

Thanks,

It's good to know this list. I will decide after some trials with heavy gliders.
