ASK 21 skin template size issue

I downloaded the template for the ASK 21 skin. You know, the wire mesh diagram. It has been suggested to add an existing skin as a layer over it to determine exactly where one may wish to paint. All good.

However, when I added the existing skin as a layer in Paint.net over the template, it was four times larger than the template.

What gives?

Yes, the template is 1k x 1k, and skins can be any multiple of that. Ask21 are 2k x 2k.

Just resize the template to 2k x 2k ...
