West Germany 3 - Ultra High Resolution v1.01 is currently at 52% of the 76.18 GB download, not one issue with the download at the moment.

One thing that I have noticed, once Parallels 17 has started, and shortly afterwards once Windows 11 is in full screen mode, I leave it in full screen mode and not go back to Mac OS until I have finished downloading sceneries or finished flying in Condor 2 then there are no issues, if I flip back into Mac OS then sometimes some of the applications may not respond for a short period of time, so for the time being, once in Windows 11, I stay there until finished.

West Germany 3 - Ultra High Resolution v1.01 was successfully downloaded, the actual had taken 4 hrs 20 mins, the extract/install had taken 1 hr 50 mins.

Quick test fllight, had taken a little longer than expected to actually get into Condor 2,with this beings UHD scenery and everything set to max, was getting 45 - 55 fps.

I now expect to be able to run/install/fly any Condor 2 Scenery.

More screenshots to follow.

Currently trying to get CoTASA Application up and running, and have come across the following problem.

Every time I start CoTASA, straight away I get a message "Language: not found in list English will be used" I then click OK button.

Then another error message comes up "C:\Condor2\controls.ini: file not found" "Please check path to pilot's folder (Condor 2 Path) in CoTASA.ini file"

But looking at the .ini file looks correct I think.

Will welcome if anyone is able to help.

Thank you.

Language issue now sorted, just the following error messages.

"Language: not found in list English will be used"

"C:\Condor2\controls.ini: file not found" "Please check path to pilot's folder (Condor 2 Path) in CoTASA.ini file"

That shouldn't be an issue as it reverts to English by default, you may safely ignore the message
"C:\Condor2\controls.ini: file not found" "Please check path to pilot's folder (Condor 2 Path) in CoTASA.ini file"
"Condor 2 Path" in the CoTASA.ini file should be the path to the pilot data folder, not the Condor installation folder
on a PC, that is : DOCUMENTS\Condor\Pilots\PILOT_NAME

Code: Select all

# path to Condor 2 current pilot's folder
Condor 2 Path=
BTW, you may consider yourself lucky that I just took a look at this thread as I had stopped looking at the heaps of screenshots you were posting

Hi Chris,

That's exactly why I went and used Flickr as this would not put added pressure putting them direct onto Condor Forum.

Please do if you think you have seen enough photos, or otherwise will post many more stunning ones with the current resolution that I'm currently using which is 5120 x 3880, currently doing more testing but want to get back to using 7680 x 4320.

not the Condor installation folder
on a PC, that is : DOCUMENTS\Condor\Pilots\PILOT_NAME

Code: Select all

# path to Condor 2 current pilot's folder
Condor 2 Path=

I'm still getting the following message from CoSATA.

DOCUMENTS\Condor\Pilots\Pilot_NAME

Please check path to pilot's folder (Condor 2 Path) in CoTASA.ini file.

Inside CoTASA folder then in the Settings folder there are 5 files

CoTASA.ini
CoTASA.ini.bak
CoTASA_default
silhouette

I have been editing the top CoTASA.ini file

This is part copy below.

######################################################################

# if no value is specified, the default value will be used

# UDP port to listen to (Condor default is 55278)
Port=

# UDP Port forwarding (default= none)
Forward Port=
# UDP Port forwarding IP address (default : 127.0.0.1 = localhost)
Forward Address=

# path to Condor 2 current pilot's folder
Condor 2 Path=C:\Documents\Condor\Pilots\PILOT_NAME

# keystrokes detection : enable (1=default) or disable (0)
# This will disable the interaction with CoTASA when Condor has focus
# Use only if you experience keyboard loss
KeyboardHook=

######################################################################
# WHAT TO DO WHEN CONDOR STOPS
# -2 = do nothing
# -1 = exit without confirmation
# >=0 wait StopWait seconds and exit after confirmation (default=0)
StopWait=0

Looking at the Condor 2 Path=C:\Documents\Condor\Pilots\PILOT_NAME

PILOT = Surname
NAME = Firstname

Is this correct, or is there an error.

What would people like to see more photos taken with the screen resolution that I'm using, or none at all.

Solved part of the problem above.

Only issue that I'm now having is from the following messages from CoTASA.

C:\Documents\Condor\Pilots\PILOT_NAME\controls.ini file not found.

On looking inside this folder there are the following files.

controls
Flightplan.fpl
Logbook
pilot
Setup

So the Controls.ini can clearly be seen.

Where in the CoTASA.ini file would you expect to see or check the path for controls.ini file.

Just where I told you above, but PILOT_NAME is just a placeholder and should be replaced by your actual pilot name in Condor

I have done this already, and CoTASA still comes up with the error message, the path I know is correct, but do I need to add a additional line to point CoTASA so that it can the controls.ini file.

Condor 2 Path in the CoTASA.ini file is correct and still unable to find the controls.ini file in C:\Documents\Condor\Pilots\PILOT_NAME

Still looking but unable to see if I have made an error or not.
