When installing Parallels 17 this will automatically set the size of the HD to 256GB. Once Windows 11 has finished installing and any updates installed, this is how you can extend the HD space depending on how big your HD/SSD is on your laptop or computer.

Closedown Windows if already running, then go to Parallels 17 settings, then select the HD Tab and then change the amount of HD space required.

Restart Windows 11, then go through the following steps below.,

Click on Windows 11 Start.

Type CMD and then run as Administrator.

Once in the command prompt, then go through the process below.

Because you have run Command Prompt as Administrator, you should be at the following location.

C:\Windows\System32\

Step 1. Type DISKPART.

Step 2. Type LIST DISK.

Step 3. Type Select DISK 0.

Step 4. List PARTITION.

Step 5. Select Partition 4.

Step 6. Delete PARTITION OVERIDE.

Step 7. List PARTITION.

Step 8. Select PARTITION 3.

Step 9. List VOLUME.

Step 10. Select VOLUME 1.

Step 11. List VOLUMES.

Once all of the 11 steps have been completed, you should then see the correct amount of disk space that has been allocated, if done correctly, there should be no changes to the way Condor 2 runs.

I'm now getting the following Access Violation Error from Condor Updater for some strange reason.

"Violation d'acces a l'adresse 007EF27 dans le module
'CondorUpdater.exe'. Lecture de l'adresse 00000004."

Condor version : 2.18
Hanger version : 23
Condor Updater : 2.0.7834 (build 60665)

I then click on the OK button, then Condor Updater seems to run as normal.

Condor Update Error Message.

I'm now getting the following error message when I run Condor Updater. This happens if either I'm extracting from zip file or going through the process of downloading.

The error message always happens at the point of extracting the zip files, it does not happen at any other point.

"An error occured while extracting landscape from NFL_main.7z

The error message happens for each zip file.

Once the last error message is cleared, Condor Updater continues to run.

Using the following software.

Parallels 17 Pro Edition
Windows 11 Home Edition

Condor version : 218
Hanger version : 23
Condor Updater : 2.0.7834 (build 60665)

I'm not sure why this error message is all of a sudden happening.

I have finally downloaded every scenery available for Condor 2 using Condor Updater, all of these sceneries have been installed on an external hard drive with the exception of a few sceneries that are installed using a .exe file, there are no issues having access to the external HD and also no issues with frame rates.

When installing Condor 2 sceneries I have used 2 external HDs one for the sceneries to be installed and the other HD for scenery zip files, the HD where the sceneries have been installed has taken just over 3TBs.

I can also confirm that Condor appears to work well on a MacBook Air M1 with Parallels and Windows 11. It seems to run at full frame rate and is very reponsive, doesn't appear to tax the Mac too much.

I also bought a Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 joystick on ebay, and it also just worked out the box plugged into the Mac with Parallels - I was very impressed!

@ASH333M
@jblackburn

Very interested in this topic as I am trying to do the same.
Parallels 19 Pro is out. Could you share your settings for Windows 11 Home? Maybe a screenshot of that too?
And Condor2 settings too.

My fps depends on the scenery being used, I usually get over 10 and works. I hope to get at least 30...

@ash333m
Do you get the same FPS results without the external monitor? I mean just using the laptop retina screen?

Have you done much testing with Parallels 19 Pro, if so what were the results.

I'm just about to install and upgrade to Parallels 19 Pro and see what happens, if this goes well, I will then test using 2 x 4K Ultra monitors, and at the same time see what the fps is.

@acepilot,

Yes having done more testing, now and again there is only a very slight difference in frame rates, but running at 7680 x 3840 is stunning, also going to see if it';s possible to run at 15360 x 3840 using 2 x 4K Ultra monitors.
