Hey all,
I've been gliding a bit in X-Plane and am looking at getting condor 2 to make the experience a bit more... how would I put it... thermal-y. I've been a bit traumatised by my performance related troubles with XP11, so will I be able to run this on decent settings? I don't want an ugly sim.
My specs are:
NVidia GTX 1050 2GB VRAM
8GB RAM
i5 7th Gen 2.50GHz, up to 3.50GHz
Thanks for the help!
Will I be able to run Condor 2?
Re: Will I be able to run Condor 2?
The system requirements page in the support section of the home page should bring answers to your questions: https://www.condorsoaring.com/system-requirements/
Your CPU is powerful enough, you have enough memory provided you shut down memory hogs like FaceBook in your web browser
The GTX1050 has a Passmark G3D score of 5084 which is in the "very good" region. 2GB VRAM should be enough
However this is only valid for a flat screen, forget about VR with this configuration
I have used Condor 2 with a similar CPU and a GTX1050 Ti (Passmark G3D=6306) and I was able to achieve 80-120 FPS with all settings maxed out, except when there were many objects or clouds.
