Saitek pedals?
So my Thrustmaster rudder pedals are just dying and please don't buy them because they are just some pedals made to die in a range of 2 years, so in the worst case, I might get new pedals and to me, it looks like the Saitek pedals are a good option and I was wondering if they were compatible with Condor 2. Does anybody know if they are compatible? (if you don't know what pedals I mean here is a link to the page https://www.logitechg.com/en-gb/product ... 00005.html)

+1 VKB T-Rudder Pedals MK IV. Best purchase ever.
I returned a second hand Logitech G940 pack to buy the VKB pedals.
Amazing quality, and they work like the real glider pedals (like the ones in choppers)
Now waiting for the VKB TECS and the WWII KG12 version of the Gladiator NXT, to complete the set up.

Re: Saitek pedals?
Here's another Saitek (logitech) pedal user. Only the 'sliding' movement works by default. I prefer using the 2 separate pedals, took some time to figure out how to configure it that way, but in the end got it working. Also got some inserts 3d-printed, so the sliding movement is completely blocked (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4750296).
Re: Saitek pedals?
Another Saitek / Logitech user here (because that's what I could find going cheaply second hand on eBay).
You should be aware that the toe brake mechanism contains a plastic part which is constantly stressed by the spring and will snap sooner or later - possibly even when you are not using the pedals. The lifetime could be even shorter than the budget Thrustmasters.
No official spare is available, but it is possible to 3D print one.
There is also someone in Germany who sells unofficial replacement parts made from aluminium. His instructional repair video demonstrates exactly what the problem is.
The other snag with these pedals is that they are set at a 45-degree angle, which would be suitable for a simpit with a low seating position but is uncomfortable if you are sitting upright in a standard office chair.
There is a noticeable dead zone in the centre and the pedals don't feel very smooth or precise, but they are still a huge improvement over twisting the joystick. Overall, they are OK for the price I paid (£50 with a broken toe brake), but I would have been disappointed if I had paid the full £120 RRP.

Re: Saitek pedals?
I have a set of these as well, certainly not the highest quality pedals on the market, but with a bit of fettling can be made semi reasonable.
My set of Saiteks is about five years old and so far I have carried out a couple of small mods, by far the best one was the removal of the centre detent, but a close second would be removing the centring spring and replacing it with a heavy rubber band of all things. The mods have cost the pedals ability to self centre but the aircraft will tell you pretty quick-smart if you are flying with too much yaw on anyway.
The next steps for my Saiteks before they go to the back of the wardrobe will probably be a hydraulic damper mod.
Here are the links that gave me the push to do the mods:

And a video for those so inclined
