Joystick not detected

Hello guys,

I hope someone can help.
It looks like my joystick is not detected by Condor. I try to assign my joystick input for pitch, roll and yaw axis from condor Setup -> Input -> Assign controls. However, when I double click on the action to setup and I move the axis I want to assign on my joystick, Condor doesn't recognize it.
Note that my joystick is detected and working fine in Windows USB Game Controllers app. I did the calibration and in the Test, I can see the axis moving when I move the 3 axis.
My joystick is also detected by this web app: https://gamepad-tester.com/
Any specific config I need to do to make it work?
Thanks.

Cheers,

Thomas

Is there a way to force condor to use one particular joystick?

There is really no way to fix this issue?
What the devs are doing?
50 Euros the license of a software I can't use is really not cool at all.
In addition, nowhere on the site is mentioned compatibility issues with joystick.

All joysticks I ever used worked plug and play with Condor. Maybe there is an issue with the joystick drivers?

My Joystick is a DIY joystick I did based on an Arduino Micro, 2020 and 4040 aluminum extrusion and some 3D printed parts.

The original project has been created by Tom Stanton:

It was done especially to be used with Condor.
It works fine with:
  • Windows USB Game Controller test application
  • Steam
I am downloading X-plane 11 demo to test and see if it works with this simulator but I guess it will.

I've buit custom flightcontrols based on a Pokeys 57U. Also worked plug and play with Condor...

Try Leo Bodnar boards.

Try Leo Bodnar boards.

It is a Leonardo bootloader board.

Have you set it as prefered stick in Windows?
Calibrated to have almost 100% deflection?
Maybe disconnect other USB devices and reboot before assigning...

Maybe you have been mixing and changing USB inputs on your system a lot... Maybe it is an option to remove all USB input history on your system...

It works well with Silent Wings as well ...

This is becoming very frustrating.

I have a suspicion why it doesn't work but for me to be able to confirm it, I will need you to help me posting a screenshot of your Inputs->Assign controls settings.
If you can do that, that will help.
I suspect that Condor is looking for specific axis names to assign to Bank, Pitch and Rudder. Whereas in other flight simulator, you can assign whichever axis you want. When I assigned my joystick axis in Silent Wings, I noticed that they were labelled as Acceleration and Steering.
I suspect that Condor wants to assign for Bank, Pitch and Rudder an axis called X Axis, Y Axis and Z Axis or Z Rotation.
This is the reason why I would need your help to post your Input->Assign controls settings.
I want to confirm my assumptions and then try to fix the Arduino application source code and try again.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks EDB, I have done all these actions. It didn't help.

This is normal setup

But it works just as well set up randomly

It looks like the names are localised, hopefully someone with your locale will post
