Hp reverb headset trouble

hello, just bought the game yesterday and Ive followed the guide to run it with the hp reverb , however , I find myself with a blackscreen in the game , only timing before race is shown ,A bit lost with all the steps to follow to get it to work
any help would be appreciated thanks

do you have to install a specific oculus app ? I download the one for the rift s .. I was really hyped but its been hours trying to make it work , switching wmr to stable / beta and same for steam vr, none worked :'(
