Desktop PC Dell OptiPlex 390
CPU: Intel i5-2400 @ 3.1 GHz, 8 GB RAM
GPU: Zotac GT 1030 2 GB DDR5
CPU Mark value of 5864 using PassMark test
3D Mark value of 2528 using PassMark test

Test 1: 324fps
Test 2: 138 fps
Test 3: 101 fps
Test 4: 71 fps
Test 5: not performed
Test 6: 48 fps

I put this PC together for a friend on a budget. A refurbished PC and an inexpensive graphics card. Based on these tests, this seems like acceptable performance. Multiplayer online contests will be the real test.

This is not a full report but if you read my other posts you will get the full picture.

Desktop PC Dell OptiPlex 3020 (mid tower)
CPU: Intel i3-4100 @ 3.4 GHz
4 GB RAM
GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1050 2 GB DDR5
3D Mark value of 5301

I did a test on another PC. Some free flight and a multiplayer flight with about 12 other players.
I was running Acer "2k" monitor (2560x1440) and a 2nd monitor (1440 x 900). First monitor is for Condor and 2nd monitor is to see task map and performance monitoring (e.g. Task Manager, CPU temp monitor). As expected (see other posts), even with graphics settings very high the frame rate is excellent.

What this test confirms is that a modest CPU, for example an i3 4th generation or i5 2nd generation is more than adequate. In my free flight test the CPU utilization never exceeded 25%.
Also modest RAM is sufficient only 4GB on this PC and still not an issue. Condor itself takes less than 400 MB or RAM when running.

The only slow part was loading the flight due to a mechanical drive. An SSD with 128 GB is sufficient if you have only a few landscapes. If you want about 10 landscapes then 256 GB is recommended. 500 GB should be lots for anybody.

Although the official system requirements https://www.condorsoaring.com/system-requirements/ currently state
"A dedicated graphics card with 1 GB memory. The graphics card should have benchmark (www.videocardbenchmark.net) result of 1000 minimum, 4000 is very good and 8000 perfect.
(Integrated graphics cards and cards with benchmark result below 1000 are usable, but with severely reduced graphics settings)"

I would state " .... result of 1000 minimum, 2500 is very good and 4000 perfect". And even that is a bit overkill. Also regarding Integrated graphics I would say that benchmark values around 800 -1000 (e.g Intel UHD 620) will have acceptable graphics settings and frame rates for most people. Intel UHD 630 (benchmark around 1300 - 1500) will be good. Just be careful that the laptop does not overheat as the CPU will be working at or near maximum.

I believe the discrepancy between the current official requirements and my recommendations is because the original was done with an early version of Condor 2. After a few updates the graphics performance was improved.
