All,
I have installed the new release on a 2-in-one device called an Eve-Tech V. It has the Intel i7-7700U processor with 16GB of memory and the Intel 615 video system.
I was concerned about the video display system, but the first few runs with the program have been just fine, even with the "very high" settings.
I was worried that I'd have to get a new computer just to support the graphics, but for the moment that doesn't seem necessary.
Just wanted to report.
Mike
Quick report on hardware
Re: Quick report on hardware
I use a MacBook Pro as a secondary machine and it has an Intel i5 dual core with 3,5GHz, 16GB RAM and an Intel Iris Plus 650 on-board graphics chip.
I get nearly 100 FPS with everything on max except for AA, which is not required due to a high resolution screen

I got i5 4670K @4.4GHz and GTX 780. I can run everything at max on 4K. I get mostly 60 fps+, only issue is when there are many clouds and trees it reduces the fps quite a bit and gets a bit choppy. So now I run it at 1080p and get between 100-200+ fps. I runs buttery smooth, even with many clouds around, so kudos to the developers.
Re: Quick report on hardware
Running at 4K resolution with all detail settings maxed with AMD FX-6300 cpu and GTX - 770 card and 8 gb ram on Win 10 . Getting around 95 fps with heavy cloud ( but switch on sync for solid 60 fps and no screen tearing ) . Can't really see any difference at the different msaa settings so I just leave them at medium .
Haven't been able to work out why I can only get 4k @ 24 fps with SYNC in 'full screen' mode - in windowed mode I can get 60fps - just wish I din't have that white bar across the top .

Re: Quick report on hardware
I am curious if anyone is using Ryzen 2400G or 2200G APU (with Radeon RX Vega 11 or 8 graphics respectively). The site says 2354 and 2126 respectively. With the price of video cards so high, one of these with 2x4 GB fast RAM seems like you could put together a usable Condor2 machine for 500-650 US (in North America). Anyone doing this?
Nice thing - in the future, when the crypto currency craze ends, and video cards are cheaper, you can just add one for 'very good' or 'perfect' performance, and the Ryzen CPUs are quite powerful.
