laptop start problem

Post by Razer » Sun Feb 02, 2025 8:25 pm

Friends. There is a problem.
I installed Condor 3 on an Asus laptop. windows 11. the machine has an intel graphics processor built into the motherboard, and there is a discrete nvidia graphics card. Launching the condor. all visualization settings are minimal. An airfield appears on the embedded video chip after the landscape loading window. but since the chip is weak, everything slows down a bit. When running from a discrete graphics card, the application crashes after the download window.
I have been reinstalling the graphics card drivers. I have read many articles on the Internet. I even reinstalled Windows. nothing helped. in
Tell me what I can do about this problem. I can send you any screenshots. Help.

Even though you have selected the discrete video card, this card still has a benchmark of only 798. Minimum requirement for Condor3 is 8000. I don't think your laptop can run Condor 3 without very severely limiting the graphics options and resolution.

I don't think that's the problem. All minimum graphics parameters are set. The airfield is launched on the integrated intel chipset. And when installing the Nvidia card, the application crashes.

New information!
I have installed the Condor 2. Enabled the same video card selection settings. I have enabled the maximum video settings. and everything is working. everything loads, nothing slows down.
But Condor 3 craches on NVidia card :(

Condor2 has much lower system requirements than Condor3. It could be that the Dedicated card is running out of VRAM with Condor3. The Integrated card usually shares VRAM with the system RAM. Perhaps it can store more data preventing the crash you experience with the dedicated card.

Point remains, your laptop is well below minimum requirements, and you can't expect Condor3 to run reliably and with a good FPS.

Dear Wickid, thanks for the explanation.
Let me make a remark )) Raiser is my good friend and I help him solve the problem
But I draw your attention to the fact that C3 runs on a much less powerful integrated laptop chipset, but does not run on 740. Although it detects it and shows it in the graphics settings.

As i pointed out. Even though the integrated chip is less powerful, it has more available VRAM. But even if it hadn't, both chips are less than 10% of the minimum requirements for Condor3. So you can't expect it to run reliably on either.
