Best computer joystick for Condor?
What's the best value/capability choice for a computer joystick for flying in Condor?
Low price is probably most important criterion for me as I'm just looking to use Condor as an off-season training tool for hang gliding, so don't care about realism of the feel/look of the stick vs. an actual, specific sailplane...
In particular, what do folks think about the Logitech G Extreme 3D Pro USB Joystick as a controller for Condor? It's currently on Amazon at $35.

Many thanks for any help y'all can share.

Thnx, Ron.
I've heard that is a good choice.
But for about half the price and none of the hassle, is that Logitech joystick a reasonable choice too?
Especially given my intended use case (to practice tactics in the off-season for hang gliding in the spring)...

Yes it will work, but no force feedback. But if you don't need that it should be fine.

I would not say it is the "best computer joystick". But it is the cheapest "good enough" solution.rontheglider wrote: ↑Mon Jan 13, 2025 1:11 pmrecurring question...same answers...Microsoft Force Feedback 2...if you can find one...just bought a spare for 60 Euro with increased force feedback hack.

I went through the same thought process. I have found the Logitech 3D with the spring is not the ideal. I have tried and tried the 3D and the darn spring is not the best.
I settled on the Thrustmaster T.16000M FCS. It is a very nice feel to it as there is no spring giving you artificial forces that is not in a real sailplane. Most here recommend the Micrsoft FF Sidewinder Precision 2, and I have one on order, however, I do like the Thrustmaster.
