I also have condor successfully running on a Mac mini m1 thru parallels, windows 11. But, I can’t not get xc soar on my android phone to connect via Bluetooth. It used to work on my old set up - intel Mac & paralles, win 10.
Any tips? Anyone come across a tutorial on how to do this?

I can also confirm that Condor appears to work well on a MacBook Air M1 with Parallels and Windows 11. It seems to run at full frame rate and is very reponsive, doesn't appear to tax the Mac too much.

I also bought a Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 joystick on ebay, and it also just worked out the box plugged into the Mac with Parallels - I was very impressed!

Parallels 17 or 18? Desktop or Pro Edition?

I'm just getting back into using Condor 2 on my M1 MacBook Pro. It is still running well, but now I have a new problem.

I would like to connect XCSoar on my Android tablet to Condor 2. This requires a virtual com port.

I'm having trouble finding any software that can set this up for Windows 11. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Well, in the past I did go through that rather "complex" track with VSPC, but recently I got it working beautifully in Win 11 after buying a very affordable BlueTooth USB dongle, and following this tutorial:

José,

Thanks for the suggestion. It hadn't occurred to me to use Bluetooth.

I have paired my Parallels Windows 11 installation with my Galaxy Tab A7, using the built-in Bluetooth on both devices, following the instructions on the YouTube video you posted.

The issue is that I don't see a Galaxy COM port in the Windows Bluetooth Settings dialog. Any ideas on how to rectify this?

Try this:

https://www.verizon.com/support/knowledge-base-20605/

In my Surface 3, after enabling the Bluetooth controller, and then ( Win 10 ) going :

Settings --> Bluetooth and other device settings --> More bluetooth options --> COM ports

you can add there a COM port.

In my case it was assigned COM 7 by default.

What is your FPS on your external monitor with which scenary? How is the case when you use only the M1 laptop screen? Less FPS?
