Sim Lab Project

Post by Bluejet » Wed Oct 05, 2022 12:27 am

We're building a sim lab at a local private school with five gaming PCs running Condor2 this week. They've spared no expense and bought components to build 5 desktop glider sims.

59" curved monitors
Gaming PCs with 3080 video cards
TrackIR (VR not recommended for this age group.)

I'm going to help configure them Thursday and would like to know what specific files I need to copy after the first one's configuration is done in order to clone the button assignments and settings to the other four.

They will be networked via the school server in due time, but we need to get the students all on the same page with standardized configurations. I'd prefer to not have to customize each rig one at a time.

Thoughts?

Thanks!

Paul

Look at Documents\Condor\Pilots\name of the pilot\

There are ini-files you can copy

Do not copy the pilot.ini file, otherwise all pilots will have the same name and CN, which you may not want for multiplayer flights

Also copy the .ini files in the C:\Condor2\Settings folder (or wherever you have installed it)

Thanks! I was heading over to start assembling and configuring last week when they told me only some of the order had arrived. It'll be another week or so until we can get it all in and rigged.
