Hello, Guys!

I have making my first basic task, hopefully with the correct settings. I have avoided all the more complicated and
confusing airspace restrictions and prohibited zones. Enjoy your viewing!

Regards & H.N.Y. in 2025!
Norbert
I didn't yet look to the task but if everyone is going to publish the tasks here we can already fly them plenty of times to gain advantage over others who didn't see or haven't got time to do so. Maybe send them to AGO only instead of public uploads.
I intended this as a one-time test sample. It's in the description. Of course, Adam decides everything and has control over it. Send him a proposal. (.fpl)

Please I want to reiterate what I already posted in this thread.

We do not want to discuss the rules. Those were already discussed and agreed on.

I would advise against this. I would set this about 300 meters below max start height. If you set it above you can climb on engine to get an optimal start, which would be an unfair advantage for players without an engine.
Wiek thanks for the suggestion, but we will stick with our initial idea of release. How someone will get to be at the right altitude and speed at the start line is not important in our opinion. Race starts after the start line not before. Landing on an airfield and restarting to be high enough to have a good start or using an engine is absolutely fine. Task setter should allow everyone to start the task easily with no disadvantage.

Please read my previous post carefully and do not post tasks here :!: :!: :!:

I am still waiting for private messages from potential task setters... Any volunteers? :?: :?: :?: :?:

I can make tasks, but same as you, I'd also like to compete. I don't know if this will be seen as an unfair advantage :?

Hello guys,
There is some misunderstanding. Witold WRW gave some tips how to create the tasks assuming that it would be helpful for everyone with focus on CWC2025. For CWC2025 Witold will send request to some of you, who have experience in C3 task creation using all new fetures of Condor or if you are willing to participate, you can send wish to him. I'm strongly analyzing it as well. Hope you will be glad with such solution. The tasks will be send directely to my e-mail.
Cheers

Just in case:
To make FPL compliance to rules easier to check, you may want to use the tool I have developed for that purpose: FPLCheck

Im also happy to submit some tasks, Ill be in touch once I have a few, but I will need some time for that, still have to make tasks for tchintchin and e-glide too.

As for being unfair; the more tasksetters there are, the less of a problem this is. For that reason I also completely do not object if Witold creates some tasks himself; anyone who thinks that is unfair should just submit some good tasks themselves! I also assume CWC will at least change the magic seed or slightly alter some other parameters like the time of day.

You are right. I think the more taskmakers, the better for CWC. Like I mentioned, I will try change something in the task keeping its spirit and intention of author. Anyway one or two or even three tasks will not change too much your position on competition and shoud be fair as in C3 is a bit different than in C2 and much more complicated to reuse the experience in the same task. Too many variables :-) . So if you are willing please send priva info to WRW
The only thing is, please send your access (no tasks) to Witold WRW and he is the first instance to choose good taskmakers. Wery sorry for that, but I'm so busy in my business an private life and will have no chance to check all taskmakers 🙈

I'll make some as well. I am only able to fly on Sundays and not even every Sunday.

Since it’s my 1st time participating, I’m wondering, do I need to attend 2 races a week? What happens if not?

The best 16 results out of 20 competition races count towards the final standings. You still have a chance to win the competition. If you miss a day or two. If you miss more than 4 days, you will unlikely win, but you can still have a ton of fun. Just fly when you can and enjoy!

If you can fly Thursdays in one slot and Sundays in a different slot, how is best to sign up? I work sometimes days and sometimes evenings, so there's none of the 4 that I can fly both of the days. Do I sign up in the latest slot and then fly in whichever earlier slot is possible? I hope I have understood that correctly.

You can register for a given slot and then after the results of the first race are published you could then, if needed, change the slot you are registered for to fly the next flight at a different time. You need to change the slot in advance. way before next race takes place. Then just repeat the process every time you want to change the time slot.

Not sure if there is another solution...

You can always fly an earlier slot than the one you signed up for, you just dont get a briefing beforehand then (which is of limited use these days anyway since weatherzones). You are not allowed to fly in the later slot.

So I would register for the late slot. That way you can fly every day even if you do nothing else, and as WRW said, you can change your slot, I believe up to 1 day before the race.
