Springfield NZ Cup

Post by Polewka » Thu Sep 02, 2021 3:33 pm

Hi all,

after a few years away from Condor I´m returning to competition. I am a bit confused about scoring:

BRA Brazil Ventus3-18 01:13:29
(00:02:29) 184.58 210.77 199.79 km/h
+ 00:02:29 689.20 m. 0.00

What does the +00:02:29 mean? I need to know to avoid it on forecoming races...

Hi Polewka,

If you are talking about the current Condor NZ competition, there is a START SPEED LIMIT of about 90 knots or about 170kph for each race.

I think your start speed was just a little fast, and so you got a penalty of (00:02:29) minutes.

The organisers haven't found a way of warning of the speed restriction as yet....

Have a look at this link for more information....

Hi John,

thank you for the explanation. I knew about the speed limit and I thought I was under or maybe a bit over 170km/h (IAS). But ok, no problem. Next time I will take better attention to the speed.
