Hello Kestrel_BY

You were flying four tasks at NCC. Turbulence related settings on those days:
P2: wind: moderate, thermals: light
D1: wind: moderate, thermals: moderate
D2: wind: moderate, thermals: moderate
D3: wind: moderate, thermals: moderate
If you felt D3 was much different, smthng may be wrong with your settings/equipment.
Maybe it was turbulent/sink air near/around thermals? As 'Thermal Strength Variation' was 'Very High' - some (even invisible) thermals was probably strong, so sink/turbulences around them was also strong. But for long time on straight flight? Strange. BTW: If you were flying generally tasks with turbulences set to "none", different settings may be surprising (but look for days above) - really hard to tell.

Rgrds

PS
Static air and no turbulences I remember from MSFS - planes was flying as would be on rails. ;) As far as I see during C2 races, turbulences are mostly 'moderate', for both wind and thermals. Overall, IMHO, turbulences in C since VR era are much lighter than before. Personally, I didn't feel Thursday's task to be turbulent. Maybe someone can also comment? The day was normal and typical - as for turbulences.
No matter where you go... There you are...

If you are used to TchinTchin it might feel quite heavy. Usually it is set to non or light in those tasks.

Well I don't fly tchin-tchin much, I'm moreso used to flying the Rider du far wave and FFVP tasks so there might be a difference there.

The configuration and condor settings were the same for all tasks of the NCC, yet during the last race there was some sort of perpetual motion with the yaw string going from left to right and nose moving up and down (with the IAS variation being around +/- 10km/h while flying around 160 km/h). It wasn't any different when getting close to thermals, nor did it change with the height, it was just a long, hectic and tiring sway during the entirety of the flight (and at least one other person flying with me on discord experienced the same thing as well).

Hello all,
4th day was not too complicated, I'd say. ;) So very good averages was achieved.
Congratulations to Alessandro (711), Mihaly (KMI) and Paweł (PLP)! Welcome new pilots to the podium! :)

Two C2 BSODS we noticed was very unlucky - that's why we use 5 of 6 days scored. Let's hope it will not occur again.
Also bad luck for Mikko (MX) on finish. :/
Philippe (PLT) made task's restarts (after entering TP1) without land on airfield first to make 'refly' and reset earlier run. :( Not sure if it can be fixed on c-c.

Results on c-c: https://www.condor.club/comp/besttimes/0/?id=18794
Overall after four days: https://www.condor.club/comp/globalscore/211/?&id=596

Some stats from SCI

As usually: FTRs > CoFliCo > IGCs > SCI 2.63b click to enlarge
NCC_D4.jpg
mCR: average climb rate in m/s for the task | mGN: mean gliding number (gliding number without influence of wind)
mIAS: mean indicated airspeed (the speed you see on your speedometer, the real speed is higher depending on the altitude) | nLift: number of lifts
DeltaGN: additional gliding number (difference between mGN and GN of speed polar) | Vmet: average of rising and sinking air
AltLift: average climbed in a lift | Detour: Detour in percent, only gliding passages are regarded.
Notice - when weather is 'weak' some pilots may dump ballast, some flying without etc - it influences stats depend on polar, but also mCR etc.

If someone would like to have all ftrs to refly with ghosts or igcs for deeper analyse etc. Drop me a msg.

 Top 3 flights. Different routes, with terrain in mind.
