Hello Pit_R,
Is this SEUK2 or SEUK3 scenery? (EDIT: SEUK3)
I haven't flown for ages and need to get back into it.
regards,
Ian

Just wanted to say how much we enjoyed the initial task - quite challenging.

Re: DCC :: Dunstable Condor Competition :: Club Class | Aug. 20th - Oct. 1st, 2020
Hello!
Glad to hear Ian! It wasn't true initial yet... Next week will be another practice day (with briefing send via c-c and results on DCC c-c scoretable). Our contest will start 27 Aug (+ next five Thursdays till Oct 1st). Six days (five best scored).
Yesterday I thought I am much slower than F9, as he catched me shortly after 2nd TP (see pic.). As he started (I guessed 4-5 minutes) later (it was actually about 2 mins)... We were in same lift and about same height. I lost sight of him soon and next minutes probably I was just more lucky. During flight was relative low twice but catched good thermals. TBH not many weak thermals I met during flight - so my average is high, which also helped a lot.
Results on c-c: https://www.condor-club.eu/ftrrank/0/?f ... cbaae5f8f0
BTW Looks like weak + variation high = very good weather. Only appears terribly on briefing.
And as promised some stats of training...
As usually: FTRs > CoFliCo > IGCs > SCI 2.62a click to enlarge mCR: average climbrate in m/s for the task | mGN: mean gliding number (gliding number without influence of wind)
mIAS: mean indicated airspeed (the speed you see on your speedometer, the real speed is higher depending on the altitude) | nLift: number of lifts
DeltaGN: additional gliding number (difference between mGN and GN of speed polar) | Vmet: average of rising and sinking air
AltLift: average climbed in a lift | Detour: Detour in percent, only gliding passages are regarded.
If someone would like to have all ftrs to refly with ghosts or igcs for deeper analyse etc. Please drop me a msg.
