April 8 starts the 2nd FBVV Panamerican Virtual Sailing Championship.
Championship organized by the FBVV (FEDERAÇÃO BRASILEIRA DE VOO A VELA), which invited the federations of the countries of the Americas.
This initiative is a hallmark of FBVV pioneering, which has been integrating the virtual and real communities, stimulating the training and technical improvement of the pilots.
The Condor 2 is an excellent training tool already recognized and used by many successful pilots in the actual sailing, allowing the experience of difficult situations and maturity of the pilot.
Among the possible learnings, familiarization with the flight computers, exemplified by: XCSoar, LK8000 and Oudie, which can be connected to the Condor.
In recent months, several photorealistic scenarios have been made available from traditional locations for sailing in the Americas, with thermal, hill and high mountain evidence being possible, which enriches the value of experience and the pleasure of flying.
The championship will feature important participation from Brazil and Argentina riders, who make up a large part of the entries so far, including national champions of categories from both countries.
The FBVV offers prizes to the winners, which will be sent via Post Office, or delivered at the closing ceremony of the Brazilian national championship of real sailing.
The results will also be registered in the official page of the federation, being treated like official event of the calendar.
The participation of pilots from all over the world will be allowed, but only the Americans will be considered in the official score.
