Penalties report after the flight

Post by JFonseca » Tue Feb 04, 2025 7:10 pm

Hi,

Is there a way to check in the flight or after the flight why did you receive penaty points? In the TchinTchin race today I did a pretty good time for a beginner, only to be very disapointed with the result because I received almost 500 penalty points!

I am a strong advocate ofPenaty points for things like airspace, thermal helpers, miracles, etc. But I thought that during the flight I never crossed airspace. The other things I don't use even when I am flying alone.

If there isn't a way of checking, it would be a great addition for next release. This would allow everyone to improve, not only in Condor, but also in RL. I know that in RL I stay out of controlled airspace if I don't get approved by ATC

10 kph too fast start speed and almost 100 meters too low finish. I didn't check what the penalties were set to, but I guess that is what you got them for.

I see this from the flight analyses in Condor Club. It shows start speed 179.73 kph (usually tchintchin is 170 kph max). And finish alt was 406.69, minimum was 500 meter.

Hi,
You must read more carefully the NOTAM!

Max start ground speed was set at 170 km/h.
They were airspace limitation at high and low altitude.
Cloud flying were forbidden.
And you must cross the finish line over 500 m.
Etc...

All these limitations had penalties!

During the flight, the PDA warns you when you are too near of an airspace 1km in surface and 100 m in height.

Thanks for your analysis. :)

The staring speed penalty I get it! The airspace I am almost sure that I didn't enter. I tried to look every where but I didn't find the penalty for finishing lower than 500m - this just highlights the need to make this visible. It's in the flight track file, so it should not be too hard to make it visible, right?

You mentioned in another post that you have, or are part of, a Facebook page. Do you mind to share the link? If it is Condor or RL flight related I am interested in following. I am based in EBSH. From your signature it looks that you are based somewhere close to Venlo...

I saw it on the Condor club flight analyses. Your flight computer will tell you if you are high or low. The Condor Flight Computer will display "5-100" in this case. In the LX you can set a navbox with the turnpoint elevation that will tell you the minimum finish height. It is also in the task options in the LX
