The test has been done and it uploaded correctly to CC.

I wonder if there is something odd about the log db file going over a file size or perhaps the 24/25 year boundary?

Anyway, initial testing shows that our servers aren't having the 'not responding' issue and it's (at least once) uploaded correctly to CC.

Thanks for the help Hitzi!

Which OS do you use on your Condor Server?
Windows 10 Pro
Can you please send me the raceresult file from this flight? Do you get this error on every CondorClub flightplan?
Yes every flightplan. Race results folder attached. I've also added the DSHelperlogs if that helps

How do you load this flight plan? I can't even start it without DSHelper. CDS tells me it can't load the flight plan after I click 'Start.' The task date is negative, which won't work. Because of this, it can't be stored in the statistics database since negative values are not allowed. I'll add a check to prevent this exception.

Hi, dont know where this error comes from... Nice you found it! I get it to work by putting it directly in server task list (not by using DSH).

Thanks for your research and reply.

I tried that too, but Condor doesn’t load the flight plan when you press Start.

Thanks. The race results have become too large for the upload via GET to Condor Club. This needs to be adjusted together with Thierry.

Thanks. Patiently waiting for a new version. Until then I will upload them manually when required and when I'm around to manage the server.

START SERVER AUTOMATICALLY AFTER REBOOT?

Hello,

This is my first post here, as a new Condor pilot and server operator. Many thanks to the Condor team, to Hitzi and to the others who help on this forum.

I have gone through all 35 pages of this thread, and still have one question. My goal is to make my server survive a Windows reboot, re-starting automatically on startup. I know how to start DShelper at Windows startup: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/win ... 34c844e473

I don’t know how to Start the server automatically once DShelper is running. (To be clear, this is starting the server, not starting flight within the server.)

As it is, I must be present at Windows start to click on the green “Start server” arrow in DShelper. How can I automate that process so my server starts every time DShelper starts?

[Edit: On another post, the author mentioned that he could "launch DSHelper with a commands.txt file to load the chosen plan into a server and start it." That may be what I need, but I don't know how to use the "commands.txt" file. Do we add "commands.txt" as an argument on the Windows shortcut command line? What is the syntax to start the server with a particular .FPL file?]

Thank you.

New DSHelper Version released.

Download: https://www.hitziger-solutions.de/en/dshelper
Current Version: 3.0.8.0

What's new:

- changed the default alternative server list URL (from HTTP to HTTPS)
- added text and automatic messages for entering and leaving airspace
- Scheduler: Added the option to close all servers and optionally shut down the PC
- implemented additional database checks
- performed many optimizations and bug fixes
- implemented parallelization for email functions
- fixed IP detection, which sometimes returned the IPv6 address instead of the IPv4 address
- fixed a rare exception that could occur when closing DSHelper
- DSHelper regains focus after starting a dedicated server
- added automatic startup (after 10 seconds) of DSHelper and previously running servers after a PC reboot (Settings)
- switched from GET to POST for uploading race results to CondorClub

I added this in version 3.0.8.0. You need to activate the two new options: "Autostart DSH with Windows startup" and "Restart the servers after a reboot." With this, DSH will try to restore the currently running servers/flight plans. If no server was running before the reboot, no servers will be running afterward.

"START SERVER AUTOMATICALLY AFTER REBOOT?"

Hi Thomas,
"- Scheduler: Added the option to close all servers and optionally shut down the PC"
I still can't find this setting option. Sorry

Shut down option is in the "Edit the action" of scheduler.

By the way, Tomas,

I've started receiving an email every time the server stops, even though no one has joined the server.
Previously, DSH sent emails only when someone joined the server.
Could you return to the old style?
