I renamed your file to raw and I am uploading it to rapidshare. Link will follow during some minutes.

converting bin files to raw

goto start button , then run
Type CMD
write down the address
example of what i see for my laptop

C:\Documents and Settings\Amouse

Open windows explorer and copy your bin file to the same place as you wrote down.
then ..

goto start button , then run
Type CMD

copy filename.bin filename.raw (press enter)

filename=what ever your bin file is called .

once it has copied the file

Open windows explorer and copy your "RAW" file to the same place as you first got the bin file from at the start of this explanation.

Now open raw to trn convertor and you onto the next step towards a map :)

Is it possible to convert existing scenery from another flightsim into Condor.

Eg I know there's a great scenery from Belgium in X-plane. I'd like to use that in Condor.

Can this be done?

Too bad!
It's a pity that none of the Belgian/Dutch Condor pilots managed to develop a Benelux scenery.
Many tried it (regarding the posts in this forum) but everytime the project stopped for some reason...
Well, frankly I don't have the time either to spend +500 hours on a project.

Yes, it is a pitty. But if you think, that scenery developers are extraterrestrials with any extra free time for it, it is a mistake. We are doing it instead of our another activites :) Is very easy to find about 4 hours daily for it - no TV, no Condor, no RL gliding, no sex... :)

Will make the 3dem version I have made available, this version was developed with Condor Soaring in mind.

Hi all. Sorry my bad english.

I'm trying to make me extremely detailed terrain
land, about 130kmx60km but I find 8 images
each approximately 2GB. Since I can not put them together into a single
file for hardware and software constraints, is it possible to
through the condor-cut.jsx go slowly adding files
dds? (without having to manually rename the tiles of course)
Or is it necessary to make a total of 16GB image to run the
cut.jsx?

I appreciate any comments.
Thanks.

Aaf I see a possible answer to my troubles here, the version 3DEM I had was a more recent version - everything worked fine up until bring the .trn into landscape editor - and ...nothing! Just a big white expanse. I will try with the version you have linked to above (the version I had did not list rows and columns when selecting a smaller area and did not show 'adjust rows and columns' after but displayed extents of image in meters.

Hopefully it will work now. :?: :?
