Hi all

Don't worry, any version of 3 DEM works properly, raws and colons coming from ter files are separated of 90 m.

And Raw to trn will adjust your scenery to a multiple of 256.

Go on!

Hi, thanks I tried again with a different version and get the same result - Whiteout in Landscape editor, maybe the ground area is too large? I see the max is 400x400km. Will check that.

I finally got hold of the 3DEM version for condor (link on Lurik's home page : http://www.lurik.fr/CondorScenery/00-Ou ... Outils.htm) which worked properly, generating a workable file. Now to figure out the calibration, hmmm landscape editor wont zoom....awkward...onward thru the fog

How big is your area..? Tiles x Tiles..?
When the scenery is too big (or too small), then zooming becomes a problem in CST.

CST works best between 4x4 and 12x12. 16x16 some things don't work as fine as wanted...

The size is no problem (13x13) it was an ID10T error! I had not selected right tooltip! :?

Last night I totally blew it by deleting old entries from the condor landscapes directory which meant that my landscape wasn't showing up, so I eventually ran recovery, in the process the installer files from my 'downloads' folder had also been stripped!! aargh! ah well now re-dl'ing everything.

I eventually found my landscape folder in the app data from an older version of condor - weird. Anyway I will start afresh - I understand the initial process so far so its easy now - Im sure I will encounter more problems and head scratching stupidity (on my part) along the way!! :)

Thanks for all the prompt replies and support.
