Very nice. Can I have it for V2? Probably I will use the trailer. The Car is a bit too DTM for meCapricorne wrote:and for some poly more....

PS: You can easily detach the trailer from BMW, but with Wings3d .....

Re: Props for sceneries?
of course , you can have it,..you know this ,but if you open the file in Wings , you will certainly have to make the textures "external" again before making a usable 3ds & .cx file...?
The car is one I did for an other game..but recycled in Condor
and also , how I did the trailer...( in 2011 french forum)

Re: Props for sceneries?
One thing that has always bothered me about a lot of Condor sceneries is the lack of people, lending a 'ghost town' feel to the airports. 2D image planes are ok for middle distance or situations where you wont see around them but it would be great to see some action 'on the grid' as it were.
So I've made some basic figures which can be manipulated and posed. They are medium poly at just under 250 vertices each so probably too big for crowds but ok for small scenes. Sory they are not animated with joint pivots so you will just have to move and rotate the joints until they look right.
Included are both clean and rendered UV maps so you can see whats going on. Feel free to adjust and edit them to what you want.
Link as above. Folder is called people containing wings file and images. Let me know what you think, hopefully they will save a lot of time when used as a starting point

Hi,
A big trailor for big glider: 9.7 m
Low poly: 329 poly, 737 edges, 430 vertices, normaly compatible with V2. there is only one Material and it is easy to change the texture.

I like the crispness of the texture. I must get better imagery to use. Have been taking lots of pictures of cars for that. There is a similar land rover down tbe road from me so must hunt it down. For next Im doing a police car - now if tbere is a way to make the lights flash...
Been having fun with those figures. When gliding its important to have a well trained crew

Folks, don't forget the shadows on the ground. They're easy to make (1 polygon) and add to realism (especially trees). I generally put them right underneath an object so it can be turned any direction without being against sunlight. For airplanes, shadows underneath wings also look good.

Re: Props for sceneries?
One more, this car came out nicely after a struggle to fix numerous problems.
Its a recycle of my police car, which, as the livery wouldn't be applicable else where, I've given plain colours. It was interesting to do, I was making an interior detailed car and clean forgot to duplicate the plain block shape before cutting the roof off and modelling the interior. So I extracted the exterior faces and used Boolean functions to subtract the car shape in effect making a mold. Then repeating the process to get the car. I wont go into how I closed the .psd without saving THEN remembered that I hadnt done the door outlines...or got them in the right place..AND the door handles..etc ad nauseum
It has a few more obscure faces than a plain block but is still way smaller than the interior modelled one. 373 faces, 943 edges and 594 vertices make it just ok for condor.
Like a good car dealer it is offered here in a variety of colours (except basic black - go figure... its a Ford??) The link again:
