Hey don't panic!! LOL I got it working, it's a great option to use guys!
Now after each edit session just run the batch and it will only update the new files, saves a LOT of time..

Here is my batch command line I use while building the scenery, on the final output when the scenery is complete I will change the -quick option to -quality_highest...
Having said that I honestly can't see a lot of difference of quality between -quick and -quality_highest anyway... :?

nvDXT.exe -quick -nmips 13 -all -dxt1c -outdir "C:\Program Files\Condor\Landscapes\Fiordlands_NZ\Textures" -cubic -pause -timestamp

An update for those that care :)

I decided to change the base texture in terragen, the first lot looked ok but not great.
This new set of colours looks much nicer, also the new snow line settings enhance the ridge lines and make them look sharper than they did before.
I think it looks much more natural now, what do you think?

This is the area around Glenorchy, still under construction.. but you can see the mountain ridge lines quite well here too.

I think I might have to edit my sig soon.. ;)

Little question. Are those my field textures? They look absolutely stunning like that, very nicely done

Yes they are mate ;)

I had to reduce the texture by 30% to get a better scale look in condor.
All that was done in Photoshop after rendering the tile in terragen.

Thank you for the textures mate.

Hej Mark,

Did you find an area? I tried all of new Zealand but there isn't enough high res stuff.

You did an awesome job blending those trees in. Nice work!
