Hangar 34 Update

Condor Updater shows Hangar 34 available. Attempt to install and all appears normal. Standard pathway through all the web pages and install routines.

But at the end of it all, even after closing and reopening Condor Updater. It still reports Hagar 33 active and Hangar 34 available.
Is there really a Hangar 34 update?

Yes, but HU 34 forgot to change version, so CU still see 33.

Normally for multiplayer flight, everyone needs the same HU along with the server.
Last night, multiplayer contest without the update worked fine. Reported that the server owner attempted to run the update but "no joy".

If some people update, but still reporting 33, or some people don't update. Can everyone still be in the same multiplayer contest?

No, the planes on the server need to be the same as the planes on the client. When joining the Client plane is checked against the server. If it is different, you will be kicked. So if the server updates, and you don't or vice versa you can experience problems. In the current Hangar update that added the ASK13 there were several things changed on other planes. So both clients and server need to be on the same Hangar version.

I only see Hangar Update 3 on https://www.condorsoaring.com/v3downloads/ - is this equivalent to "34" as shown in Condor Updater?

I have uploaded HU 3 from Condorsoaring download page. Tow plane skins have been updated.
Server has been updated too (Condor cafe server)
However, when entering the game I often (not systematic) get the following error message :
"Your towplane (Husky) has different performance data as server towplane"
What would you suggest ?

Husky performance data wasn't changed by the Hangar Update. Either the server or the client has a corrupt file. It probably only happens when you get a husky assigned to you. Towplane selection is random by the server.

If more people connecting to your server have this issue it is the server. If you are the only one, re-install your local copy or take the Husky.dta file from the server.

This problem (BS) happened to me by the TchinTchin-Login yesterday - but with the Piper SuperCup.
Direct next Login to TchinTchin without a problem...

The Husky and the Piper have been removed (again) from Tchin-tchin

I did the new Hangar-Update and the registration of the ASK-13 before.
Additional a few Towplane-Skins from Patrick (2P) with the Updater.

As i said, the second login without any changes 2 minutes later worked....

Ahh that may explain it. The HU adds skins. So if the towplane was removed from the server, the folder was recreated by the HU. But not all files are included with the HU, only the skins. That means the DTA file which is checked for integrety is missing from the server causing that error message.

Exactly that !
Only a couple files were overwritten when I moved the newly created Husky and Piper folders from the Planes folder to the Hidden_Planes one, where I store the de-activated planes

Checking Condor Updater today, there is no more reference to Hangar 34.
Updater is now reporting Hagar 33 as current and all items are Green.
Did Hangar 34 cease to exist?

Reference to HU3 in the posts above do not make sense to this novice.
I do see the "Download Page" reference, but no information there as to hangar sequence number, only the date 31 Jan 2025 with reference to Update 3.

Why does the download page reference Update 3, but Condor Updater calls for Hangar 33 or now the non-existent 34?
